David P. Hadley
David P. Hadley received his BA in History from Gettysburg College in 2009, where he wrote a thesis on National Security Council decision-making as it related to the question of intervention at Dien Bien Phu. He is currently completing his PhD at The Ohio State University, specializing in U.S. Diplomatic History and working with Peter Hahn, Robert McMahon, and Jennifer Siegel. His dissertation examines the relationship between the Central Intelligence Agency and the media from the founding of the agency in 1947 to the Church Committee investigation in 1975. The project emphasizes the social and cooperative nature of that relationship, the goals the various players hoped to achieve through cooperation, and the actual outcomes of that cooperation.
