Glenn McCaskey

A native of Reading, Pennsylvania, Glenn McCaskey is a doctoral candidate in Early American History. His work examines bankers, scoundrels, confidence men, and counterfeiters in the shaping of the economy of early Ohio. Mr. McCaskey graduated magna cum laude from Millersville University of Pennsylvania in 2002. He holds the M.A. (2004) in History from The University of Connecticut and the M.Ed. (2005) in Urban Education from Alvernia College. His M.Ed. thesis questions Education’s resistance to Poststructural thought. He is a member of the Phi Kappa Phi honor society along with the educational honor societies Pi Lambda Theta and Alpha Epsilon Lambda. He held an OSU university fellowship in 2007-2008. Prior to coming to The Ohio State University, Glenn McCaskey was a high school substitute teacher in social studies, Spanish, and special education, and also worked in the engineering department of a major lead-acid battery manufacturer. Mr. McCaskey resides in Westerville, Ohio.
