Leticia R. Wiggins
Leticia is a graduate student in Ohio State’s Department of History in her third year of the Master's/Ph.D. program. Her research interests include Modern U.S. History, Women/Gender/Sexuality Studies, and Latin American History. She is currently serving as the associate editor for Origins, managing publicity and social media platforms. Interested in the relationship between institutions, place, and activism, she is studying the Chicano Movement (1970s-80s) in the Midwest as part of a greater dissertation project. The project is an intellectual history of the political ideas forming the basis of Midwestern Latino/a activism within a unique regional and institutional context.
