Renae Sullivan

Renae Sullivan is a Ph.D. candidate at The Ohio State University. Her research focuses on women’s transnational history, Home Science, and development theory employed in postcolonial India. She is the author of "Sexual Violence in India: The History of Indian Women’s Resistance" and "More Than Just Homemakers: Transnational Home Economists' Role in India's Development, 1964-1971." Her dissertation traces and analyzes transnational Cold War interactions and the essential modernization and development leadership provided by American home economists and Indian home scientists, all of whom were women.
