Laura Herron is a graduate student at The Ohio State University, where she studies modern European history. Her specialized fields of interest include modern German history, modern Jewish history, and history of the late Ottoman Empire. Laura earned her Honors B.A. (2005) and M.A. (2007) in History from Kent State University. Her current research focuses on late 19th-century and early 20th- century constructs of “Jewishness” within European colonialist narratives.
