Ashley Bigham is an Assistant Professor at the Knowlton School of Architecture at the Ohio State University and co-director of the architectural practice Outpost Office. She has been a Fulbright Fellow in Ukraine, a MacDowell Fellow, and a Walter B. Sanders Fellow at the University of Michigan’s Taubman College of Architecture and Urban Planning. In 2019, she was a guest faculty at the Kharkiv School of Architecture and in 2014 a guest researcher at the Center for Urban History in Lviv, Ukraine. Her recent work in Ukraine has focused on new educational models, the architecture of consumerism, and Ukrainian Soviet Modernism. She is the editor of Fulfilled: Architecture, Excess, and Desire (Applied Research & Design, 2022). Ashley holds a Master of Architecture from Yale University and a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Tennessee. Prior to co-founding Outpost Office, Ashley practiced at MOS and Gray Organschi Architecture in New Haven, CT.
