Erin V. Moore

Erin V. Moore joins The Ohio State University in Autumn 2020 as the Dr. Carl F. Asseff Assistant Professor in Anthropology and the History of Medicine. A cultural and medical anthropologist, she researches and teaches the political economy of medicine, health, and disease. She is currently investigating how the collapse of Uganda’s coffee industry in the 1990s shaped women’s disproportionate vulnerability to HIV.
