Ori Yehudai is an Associate Professor of History and Schottenstein Chair in Israel Studies at the Ohio State University. His research and teaching areas are modern Jewish and Israeli history, with a focus on migration and the Arab-Israeli conflict. He is the author of Leaving Zion: Jewish Emigration from Palestine and Israel after World War II (Cambridge UP, 2020), which was a finalist in the National Jewish Book Awards, and of peer-reviewed articles on Jewish refugees, the post-Holocaust Jewish world, and aspects of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. His current research deals with Israeli-Palestinian violence in the 1970s.
