Elizabeth Bond

Elizabeth Andrews Bond received her PhD from the University in California, Irvine in 2014, and joined the Ohio State Department of History in 2015. Her courses at OSU include 2203: Introduction to Early Modern Europe; 3249: Old Regime Europe; and 3250: Revolutionary and Napoleonic Europe.

Professor Bond's research interests include the history of eighteenth-century Europe, the cultural history of the Enlightenment, and communication networks in world history. Her work has been supported by grants and fellowships from the Fulbright, the Princeton University Council on the Humanities, the American Association of University Women, the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation and the Council for European Studies.

She is working on a book manuscript provisionally titled Letters to the Editor in Eighteenth-Century France: An Enlightenment Information Network. Her publications include:
