Jonathan Grant

Jonathan A. Grant is a Professor of Modern Russian History, and Chair of the Department of History at Florida State University in Tallahassee. His most recent book, Rulers, Guns and Money (Harvard 2007) examines the global armaments business in the era of high imperialism from roughly 1860 to 1914. Professor Grant's areas of interest include Russia, the Ottoman Empire, Balkans, Central Asia, and the First World War.
