Michael Corbin has over 30 years of experience working in academia, the federal government and with various think tanks covering trade and economic issues related to Russia and Eurasia. This includes 26 years federal service with the U.S. Department of Commerce in the international financial services and trade sector. As such, he has spoken on insurance and pension issues at the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development’s (OECD) Committee on Insurance and Private Pensions and worked with various governments and industry associations in the former Soviet Union and the CEE region. He holds an M.A. in Russian and East European Studies from the Ohio State University.
