Having earned his B.A. in Political Science and History from the University of Rochester in 2005, Robert became a graduate associate at The Ohio State University in 2005. He is pursuing a degree in Military History, and his current research interests includes the role of the European military in expanding control in their African colonial possessions. More specifically he is working on a MA tentatively entitled “Envisioning Exploitation: The Use of Cartography in the Conquest and Control of German East Africa.”
