Ursula Gurney

Ursula Gurney received her B.A. in History, First Class Honours, from Simon Fraser University (2000) and her M.A. in History from Simon Fraser University (2002). Currently Ursula is a PhD. Candidate who specializes in European international relations. She is working on a dissertation titled: "The United States and European Detente; Nixon, Ford, and the Helsinki Accords, 1969-1975". Her work has been supported by the Department of History, College of Humanities, and Office of International Education at The Ohio State University. She has won additional awards from the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Library and the Mershon Center for International Security Studies. Ursula teaches courses in western civilization, world history, and modern Europe. Additionally, Ursula manages the organization The Mershon Network of International History (www.mnih.org).
