The news printed in magazines and newspapers is the result of reporters complaining about hotel facilities, animal rights issues, Vladimir Putin, and an intolerant Russian society.
Before taking these articles to heart, a professor of Russian Studies at New York University, Stephen F. Cohen, wants to caution us that this sort of news articles are "an indication, this media malpractice is now pervasive and the new norm."
