Christine Spaulding

Christine is a MA student and graduate assistant in the Department of History at Miami University in Oxford, OH. She is currently serving as the Book Editor for Origins. Her research interests include modern U.S. history, history of education and public history. Her thesis focuses on the outcomes of the expanded vocational education program in Connersville, Indiana from the 1970s to the present through the eyes of students, educators, administrators, and locals. She has begun collecting oral histories and materials from residents of Connersville, as well as digitizing and editing these materials for online publication. In addition, she has also taught several classes including World History since 1500 and World History since 1945.
