Archana Venkatesh

Archana Venkatesh is a PhD candidate in the Department of History at The Ohio State University. Her dissertation is a history of women doctors and their role in formulating and implementing developmental regimes and initiatives in twentieth century India. She works in the fields of Women's History, modern South Asia, History of Medicine and Public Health, and World History. She received her BA from Lady Shri Ram College, Delhi University, and her MA from Madras University.
