Elena Albarran

Elena Jackson Albarrán is Associate Professor of History and of Global and Intercultural Studies at Miami University, where she teaches classes on modern Mexico, Latin American Revolutions, popular culture, and comparative childhoods. Her research explores transnational dimensions of childhood and youth in Mexico and across the Americas. She is author of Seen and Heard in Mexico: Children and Revolutionary Cultural Nationalism (Nebraska 2015).
