Eric Michael Rhodes is currently teaching American Studies at the University of Angers and is an M.A. candidate at the Sorbonne University. Eric was awarded his M.A. in History at Miami University of Ohio in 2019. He studies urban and planning history, and currently serves as books editor at Origins. Eric's M.A. thesis considers how U.S. subsidized housing policy played out in the rusting Steel Belt of the 1970s. Eric is interested in topics including segregation in the 20th century city, global urban history, documentary film, political thought, the history of capitalism, and intellectual history. He is also books editor at the Urban History Association's official blog, The Metropole.
