Lydia Dixon

Lydia Dixon has a doctorate in anthropology from the University of California, Irvine, where she is currently a Junior Scholar of the Social Science Network. She has worked and conducted research in Mexico for many years, focusing on women’s reproductive health concerns. Her dissertation examines the professionalization of midwifery training in Mexico, and her publications have focused on obstetric violence, maternal mortality, and women’s health as an international development concern.
